SISTEMA Shore-To-Ship power solutions

The reasons for connecting to an external power source are varied.

Compliance with global emission regulations, reduction of pollution in and around cities, and a safe and simple solution for use during the day in daily work situations bring all the changes that the SISTEMA team can support.

Pollution in the surrounding cities and busy ports is mainly a consequence of the docking of vessels in the ports themselves. With the possibility of connecting to the grid from the mainland, electricity emissions are significantly reduced.

This fully integrated system helps reduce emissions in ports by connecting ships to power from shore via a Shore-To-Ship power connection. SISTEMA enables seamless automated energy transfer, thus securing the ship's cargo from its electrical plant to the shore source and back. The above procedure allows vessels to switch off their diesel generators to generate electricity on board and connect to the shore power source while the vessel is at anchor.

E-converters

SISTEMA supplies containerised modular solutions for powering deck equipment for offshore work vessels such as wind farm installation vessels, cable layers, dredges, etc.

Due to the specifics of the deck equipment, which can have an operating frequency of 50 or 60Hz, it is necessary to enable more possibilities for powering the equipment from the container through one power supply from the ship.
