The ISO 27001 certificate is another international standard that defines the requirements for the SISTEMA Information Security Management System; the company charges itself and its customers-partners-suppliers to assess the risks and to carry out risk assessments and the implementation of specific controls to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets. The fundamental goal of the system is to secure and protect the information of all stakeholders in the business relationship from misuse or loss.
Underwriters Laboratories
The UL mark is a universal trust mark with widespread acceptance. UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is an independent and non-profit organisation. It develops electrical safety standards. It shows close relations with the authorities and is considered by many as the authority on security in the US. The UL 508A designation is a standard for building industrial control panels (ICPs) and guides on various security issues. These include component selection, calculation of short circuit ratings and proper wiring methods. Once a company is UL 508A certified, it can produce control panels that comply with UL 508A. This mark proves that the control panel complies with nationally recognised safety standards. The SISTEMA company has cooperated with USA companies for several years thanks to these certificates. SISTEMA is the owner of the Bureau Veritas Mode II certificate for the production of electrical cabinets according to shipbuilding standards and all other IACS classification societies
